A Montignoso, nei pressi di Massa, Ilaria Sanguineti e tutta la Valcar Cylance firmano una bella prestazione al Trofeo Oro in Euro. Per la 24enne di Ventimiglia, il secondo posto alle spalle di Laura Tomasi, che l’ha preceduta di soli 6″. Un risultato in linea con la prestazione del team, così ha commentato Davide Arzeni direttore sportivo: “E’ andata bene, peccato per la vittoria che avremmo voluto dedicare alla sfortunata Asja Paladin vittima di una brutta caduta il giorno precedente alle Strade Bianche. Quanto alla gara, ci spiace non aver performato al meglio: Ilaria (Sanguineti) si è fatta sorprendere in discesa, poi ha recuperato bene nel finale, ma ha fatto fatica a chiudere sulla Tomasi”. Da segnalare l’ottavo posto della campionessa italiana, Marta Cavalli.

The 24th years old borned in Ventimiglia took the second place behind Laura Tomasi, who preceded her by only 6 second. “A result in line with the solid performance of the team, said Davide Arzeni, sport director: “We managed a good race but we wanted to dedicate this victory to Asja Paladin, victim of a bad fall the day before at Strade Bianche. About the race we regret not having performed at our best: Ilaria Sanguineti was surprised during the downhill, then she tried to cover the gap in the final, but she had no chance closing on Tomasi”.
