Elisa grande Elisa. La Balsamo si sblocca e vince il Trofeo Maarten Wynants gara internazionale per la categoria
donne Elite che si è svolta stamane, in Belgio, sulla distanza di 120 chilometri. La portacolori della Valcar Cylance
ha battuto in volata Laura Tomasi, l’olandese Van ‘T Geloof e la compagna di squadra Ilaria Sanguineti che
ottiene un buon quarto posto. “Le ragazze hanno fatto un buon lavoro, la squadra ha girato benissimo-spiega il
direttore sportivo Davide Arzeni-. La spinta che Guazzini, Pollicini e Cavalli hanno impresso a tre chilometri
dall’arrivo ha praticamente scremato il gruppo, e allo stesso tempo ha messo nelle migliori condizioni la
Balsamo per essere esplosiva. E Ilaria (Sanguineti) merita una citazione a parte per il suo prezioso contributo nel
momento clou dello sprint finale”.
Oggi la Valcar Cylance ha fatto il miglior lavoro per tutto il team. E’ andata bene a Elisa Balsamo, che ha colto la
prima affermazione stagionale, e’ andata bene a Silvia Persico che ha conquistato la maglia di verde dei
Traguardi Volanti.
